Cornbread hasn’t yet figured out how to get completely onto the couch.
He doesn’t let that stop him from getting pets though.

When you are that long, couches can be confusing. He’ll work it out eventually once he figures out how to get his rear in gear.

Targa after never showing interest in our couch has decided it’s really great at supporting her front half.

He keeps pushing up onto his toes on his back legs. I think he’s trying to get his butt to slide into place on the cushion.

My Great Dane had issues like that. His front half never really had control over the back half.

I think Cornbread sees how comfy Ruby looks on the couch and wants a piece of that action. He definitely tries to get his butt up and on but just can’t manage.

He either needs to come up with a new approach or add an extra joint in his back leg.
I’m just hoping he doesn’t decide to try a running start followed by a flying leap.
